About the Kollel
Located on the Lupin Campus of Yeshivas Ohr Reuven in Monsey, NY, the Kollel Lehora’ah offers a three year semicha program culminating in semicha Yoreh Yoreh. Under the guidance of the Rosh Hayeshiva Harav Bezalel Rudinsky שליט״א, the Rosh Kollel Rabbi Yisroel Gottlieb שליט״א, and the Rosh Chabura Rabbi Eliyahu Wincelberg שליט״א, the chabura devotes themselves to the mastery of Hilchos Shabbos, Kashrus (Basar Becholov and Ta’aruvos), and Niddah.
As part of a comprehensive approach to rabbinic training, our students benefit from classes and clinical guidance on a wide variety of areas critical to the rabbinic profession. Graduates of the Kollel Lehora’a receive semicha Yoreh Yoreh from Harav Bezalel Rudinsky שליט״א.
This Year's Kollel Sefer
It is with great pride that the Kollel LeHora’ah of Yeshivas Ohr Reuven looks forward to publishing its annual Koveitz of Chiddushei Torah.
The impressive collection of essays from the Kollel’s Yungerleit and alumni, as well as various contributions from the yeshiva’s Rabbeim, has been an attestation to the growth and vitality of the kollel over the last few years. As in the past, this Sefer demonstrates the exceptional caliber of our Yungerleit and offers the public an insider’s view of the Torah studied daily in our Beis Medrash.
As part of our recent efforts to expand the Chabura and our support for our Yungerleit, we are turning to the public for support for this project. Proceeds from this campaign will not only enable us to share the Torah of the Kollel beyond the walls of the Beis Medrash, but will also promote the Kollel’s dedication to Limmud Hatorah throughout the year. If you have not yet visited, we encourage you to drop by and meet the Chavrei Hakollel and partake in one of the many weekly Shiurim. We look forward to welcoming you!
